A skilled knitter can make an entire jumper in under an hour. The journey to employment for most knitters is to secure a contract from a local school to make children’s knitted uniforms. This is a virtual gift. Your purchase will cover the costs of collecting a donated sewing machine and refurbishing it, ready to be sent off to a skills training centre in Africa. You will receive a card to recognise your purchase of a virtual gift through the post. This will be despatched by second class mail within 5 working days of receiving your order. On occasion we may need to substitute or omit certain items in tool kits.
