Halstead will accept donations from TWAM collectors by prior arrangement only. Please get in touch via Ipswich.

What we do

Halstead receives tools from all over the UK via deliveries from the Ipswich Refurbishment Centre. Our team of dedicated volunteers refurbish these tools and create mechanics and plumbers' kits. Halstead is responsible for making the majority of mechanic kits for TWAM with a team of 12 volunteers, including Ron, Jane, Rod, Richard, Ray, Len, Glyn, Colin, Brian, and Steph. The Halstead centre is managed by Geoff.

Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, the team's speed is legendary. They are able to produce 20-30 mechanics and 10 plumber kits every fortnight! Once the kits are completed, they are sent back to Ipswich for shipment.
