About the event
We've just moved to a new Refurbishment Centre in Rugby. This centre will double the number of livelihood-creating tools that we can send to Africa, from 16 containers a year to 32 containers. To achieve our ambitious goals, we need dedicated volunteers to help us every step of the way; from collecting tools, to refurbishing them, packing them, and loading them into the container, amongst other tasks!
This event will include:
- Tours of the new Refurbishment Centre, a chance to see all the sections and what tool kits they are responsible for
- Discussions with our members of staff and volunteers to give you an idea of what it's like to volunteer with TWAM
- Tea, coffee, cakes, and other refreshments!
