TWAM Ipswich Volunteer Open Day

Volunteers across the country collect tools from members of the public which are then brought to our refurbishment centres by our van teams. A large amount of refurbishment is done at Ipswich, which is our headquarters, and other centres around the country also refurbish tools and send them to Ipswich to be packed into shipping containers.

We have recently opened a new centre in Rugby to double our output of refurbished tools, and to do that, we're going to need a lot more help in Ipswich too! Come and have a look around our centre, chat with our team, and find out how you can help us to send refurbished tools to African skills training centres where they will transform the lives of the most vulnerable members of rural African communities.

This event will include:

• Tours of the new Refurbishment Centre, a chance to see all the sections and what tool kits they are responsible for
• Discussions with our members of staff and volunteers to give you an idea of what it's like to volunteer with TWAM
• Tea, coffee, cakes, and other refreshments!
