How to donate tools
We are very happy to receive tools dropped off between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Wherever possible please box them up for ease of unloading. If you are dropping off more than a couple of boxes of tools or a couple of machines we would ask you to ring and make an appointment to avoid overcrowding or clashing with a van delivery. Please ring 07719 634131 during the above hours to arrange a drop off. Thank you.

What we do
The Coventry refurbishment centre specialises in the make up of carpentry kits and refurbishment of sewing machines and Haberdashery. We have 2 industrial units, one is run as a workshop for refurbishment and the other as a warehouse to receive donations and undertake sorting. Coventry works closely with the Coventry Waste Recycling Centre, where each week a load of tools is picked up. Similarly a shed is kept at Rugby waste recycling centre which is emptied as required. 4 tonnes of donated tools have come from the sheds.
We are looking to expand our work in Coventry over the next 12 months. To do this we need more volunteers! Find out more about volunteering at our Coventry centre below:
Coventry covers the northern half of the UK, undertaking a large number of van journeys each year, covering Carlisle to Weston Super Mare. In the first 6 months of the year 71 tool collections were made, with a van run between Coventry and Ipswich running at least weekly with a growing amount of donations coming in. Volunteer drivers from Coventry put in many miles for TWAM collecting from our collectors.
We have around 20 volunteers, covering refurbishment, sorting and packing with 2 specialising in Haberdashery to make up sewing kits and sort materials to go with the sewing machines.
Volunteer with us
We are looking for volunteers to join us at the refurbishment centre to help with a wide variety of tasks. Please visit our dedicated volunteer website for details: timefortwam.uk
