Tools sent
in 2021

We’re extremely pleased that we were able to reach our target of sending 14 containers full of life-transforming tools to Africa in 2021. This really is an achievement to be proud of, one that was made possible thanks to our generous supporters, and our committed volunteers across the UK. These tools will play a massive role in allowing members of developing communities to generate their own income and leave their poverty behind them, the importance of which has only increased with the global disruption of the pandemic.

Key Kits

We send a wide variety of tools kits, as well as individual tools, power tools, and accessories. We sent a total of 9,989 tool kits this year. Here is an overview of the most popular kits that we send and the countries that they were sent to.

As you can see, despite all the challenges that organisations around the world are currently facing, we were still able to send a staggering amount of livelihood-creating tools to Africa this year. This is not only the number of tools sent, but also the number of lives potentially transformed. Every single kit has the power to turn someone's life around and let them put their poverty behind them.

We're amazed that tools kept coming to us at the rate that they did this year, generously donated by members of the public. Next year, we plan to send even more tools, and we'll need your help to do it.
