For one week only 1st - 8th December get your donations doubled to support livelihood creation this Christmas
Double your donation this Christmas...
Livelihood creation has never been more important. COVID-19 restrictions have left families across east Africa devastated, many not being able to work and feed their children. As we all begin to imagine life after coronavirus, we want to give more individuals the life-changing gift of a skill.
Vincent Kayanja, the Mayor of Entebbe, Uganda stated at a TWAM presentation, 'Education without a skill is almost completely useless.'
In labour-orientated countries across east Africa where TWAM works this is true. TWAM is addressing this problem by providing the tools to equip training centres and for students who have dropped out of formal education when they graduate. There are hundreds of thousands of individuals across east Africa in need of a skill - this Christmas we want to do more.
